While there were a few nice moments, the main plot was a mess. It feels like the writers couldn't make up their mind about either storylines or characterisation. And at one point they completely forgot where they left some of the characters in the previous issue... Surprisingly not 100% horrible. Despite the title of this book, the story was less about Kid Flash and much more about Superboy. Worse yet, by the time its over, you could care less what happens to either character.
