So the main reason I finally wanted to read this is to find out the path the character of Rachel takes after her abrupt departure from Uncanny. Unfortunately she hardly seems the same character in these books. With no research on the matter my guess is this: Claremont really liked Rachel, the fans didn't, so he wrote her off of Uncanny...
