Too much discussion regarding politics for an elementary schooler...however, as an adult, interesting to learn about Russia in the early 1990's While I am reading this, I don't ever think it was written by someone other than Tatiana. This is really well written, and I reccomend it to any dancer ages 10 and up. Skipping a generation in the book series, Tanya is the granddaughter of Georgi.
