Na 30 jaar nog eens herlezen. Maakt wel indruk, zelfs als je het naast andere voorbeelden van experimentele verhalen zet. Michiels is er in geslaagd een schrijfprocd te vinden om een stream of consciousness weer te geven in de derde persoon. Knap. Wat me dertig jaar geleden minder opviel, maar nu des te meer is dat hij ook knap bijna... Interessante (en persoonlijk vond ik het een aangename) schrijfstijl, la stream-of-consciousness. Vraagt wat inspanning, maar dat mag al eens.Wel kon het verhaal zelf me weinig boeien, vandaar 3/5. I didn't really like it. It has no story and is really incomprehensible sometimes.
