I enjoyed this book. It is quite eclectic, and entertaining on the surface. The cover is designed like a CD jewel case, which fits the theme.Below the surface is some sometimes dark commentary on the lives of artists, both musically and literary, and the trends our culture finds relevant. The author is present throghout the work, commentint... This is a COOL read, eclectic and fun. I did not want to put it down. At times I really felt for the characters,other times I was laughing. I really love the use of different media sources..certainly made for a unique one of a kind book. I had to read this book twice, partially because I didn't catch all of the pop culture references and again because I thought I couldn't possibly be reading what I read. The words are all common, but the messages they are sending are almost unthinkable. I recommend this book to anyone that likes a challenge or anyone that likes to read...
