The story has shifted in the direction of mystery, and it works here. The camaraderie between Kandy and Jade really carries the story well, and Warren was an interesting addition who has a lot of promise should the series continue. I was a little sad to see Desmond's role peter out, but given his personality and the events of the last... This book was slightly off from the previous ones. More action and fight scenes and a better understanding about the world around but taking the story outside of the country was a little ehhh. The lack of romance which didn't disturb me before now is grating on my nerves not to mention the strange reaction at the end of the book. No... This book was okay. It was good until I reached about 60%. The entire climax of the book was incredibly boring. I skimmed through it ever since they reached Seattle. It was just so boring and bland and I didn't even understood what was going on, but I am sure the next book will be more interesting, because this one felt more like a...
