This is a romantic story and I mostly enjoyed it. I admit I don't read a lot of "romance" and although it was not slushy it was a little to formulaic for my taste. The story is structured with a narrator talking to her husband, which would suit a film, but I just didn't believe it (as a written story related by a third party who had... I received this book as a giveawayThis was a delightful read, the author made it very easy to fall in love with the characters. I found myself excited to get to the end. I needed to know what became of this couple. I normally don't enjoy romance/love stories but this book is an exception I would definitely recommend this book. What a pleasant read! I smiled a lot and even cried a little. The main character is a handsome and lovable doctor but I really appreciated the strong female characters. I really enjoyed this book.
