I wish they would have continued this series instead of cancelling it, as it was obviously getting better. This second volume would have gotten 4 stars if it weren't for there being no ending. In fact, the last story in this volume is an issue #0 story. One that was superfluous. Oh well. I can see why this series ended. It is a Michael Bay comic. Explosions! Disaster! Fight! Fight! Fight!The characters are angsty teenagers with super powers. I didn't care for the Culling and crossover mess and while this at least tells the whole story without jumping to another comic it comes out of that mess of a story and doesn't... While the action and story here was a bit better than expected (a bottle episode in an infected small town), I can't help thinking that whoever thought writing all the teen-hero focused books should be more violent than the 'adult' focused titles. The body count is higher, the behavior is worse, and the characters are to a one unlikable...
