This is not a book I ever would have chosen for myself, but I read it because it was given to me in a book exchange. It was an ok read but had many parts that caused a roll of my eyes. I also thought the main character seemed more like a 44 year old then a 24 year old. Cute story, and a good emotional arc, just way too much cheese and... Too preachy and I didn't like the style of writing - way to much detail in mundane things. A young 24 year old woman is out looking for love after her fianc breaks off their engagement 6 weeks to their wedding because he got an old girlfriend pregnant. I generally avoid LDS fiction because I find it cheesy and unrealistic (being LDS, I hope I know what real LDS life is like), but this one had more real elements than most--at least at the beginning.
