More About The Satanist
Far fetched occult drama has it's moments.I found the ending rather dissapointing. I was quite disappointed with this book. I'd read The Devil rides out and LOVED it and also enjoyed To the Devil a daughter. This book had some of the same characters as To the Devil a daughter but it just seemed far too absurd. It started with a rather lengthy discussion about how Communism was infiltrating the trade unions and ruining... Another, not the best, and overly long. About your average Wheatley, bad guys are working class commies, out to destroy the good world of upper middle class and aristos, all financed by Russia. A tad predictable. Too wordy, needs editing, the conclusion was rushed, and left lose ends. Disappointing, but not actually bad.
