If I was to rate this book on the story plot then it would be a solid 4* or even more. The female was a strong character who was independent and did not need the SEAL to come to her rescue. The first chapter definitely left me wanting more!!!However the writing style ruined this book for me. As much as I like reading books in third... Even though A Sense of Duty is a work of fiction, Ava Armstrong has provided descriptions of Navy SEAL training, covert operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the architectural world that make you believe she is either speaking from experience or has a contact on the inside. Sometimes the story drags a little because of the descriptions... I really liked this book, I didn't think I would because it goes back and forth between the characters telling the story from their point of view. But in this book it really worked. It pulled me in from the first page and I had a really hard time putting it down. Definitely worth reading, I am looking forward to the nest book in the...
