More About Birds of Prey, Volume 5: Soul Crisis
Starling and Black Canary were my two top fav characters in this whole run, and both have had some good development and growth. A little disappointed with Starling though, I thought her story could have been more flushed out. I'm glad Batgirl ended this volume the way she did; BC deserves it. It seemed like the entire thing was written in fast forward mode. Like the author was trying to catch the reader up on what was happening, but never actually caught up to the current story. Bye Bye Birdie(s)...This is the final volume of this run of the New 52 Birds of Prey, and it does an okish job of disbanding the team. Warning: If you haven't read the previous volumes, I may end up spoiling some stuff for you!It opens with Dinah's origin in the Zero Year issue, and shows how she went from a homeless street rat to badass...
