3.5/5I very much enjoyed the set up and concept for this collection back in volume 1 and as it continues through volume 2. The only reason for a slightly lesser rating on this volume is that it felt too short. The book ended and I felt like it was on the same note that the story started. One thing that I do like about these comics is... Not that great, thought it would be better. It's difficult to really get a good sense of the characters who are, let's face it, cheap knock-off of the originals. Power Girl is like a female version of Green Arrow in his own crappy series, and Huntress tries too hard to be the girl version of Damien Wayne, Robin, and it fails. This is a good book that's doing things slow, steady and genuinely. The relationships, the uber-villain, the way this pair makes their way through the world with their respective skills.I like the exploration of how these heroes are still trying to fit into this slightly-altered universe.
