This book was a cheesy mess. Everyone kept talking about how great Carter was, I thought this book was about Athena. And the things Carter did just made her seem tacky to me. I can actually see why girls probably didn't like her and it has nothing to do with her looks. Well, what I thought would be torture wasn't so bad in the end. The editing is still really bad...but infinitely better than book one as was the writing, storyline and characters in general.
