Enjoyed this story! I am not usually one for "cowboy" type stories but I have enjoyed Ginger Voight's books, so I read it. I liked the story. It was more like the typical romance stories with a marriage of convenience. A nice, light read. Another great story from a great author! UmmSo don't get me wrong here. The plot was great and all. And very unexpected... But I'm more pissed off than anything. The way he treated her... The crap he pulled... The running off and then the ohh now we are happy forever (in like the last two pages) really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It's like she just gave up and this jerk... Jessica Austin was the last of her line; her parents had tragically died eight years prior and she ran the century-plus old family ranch without a husband or even the slightest desire for one. She had learned long ago that wandering cowboys would only bring heartbreak and she was too strong a woman to allow a man to love her and leave...
