Got this for my newly-vegan, soon-to-be-daughter-in-law, so I haven't tried any of the recipes. I spent a pleasant afternoon drooling over the squee-worthy photos, however. Every dessert looks tempting, and they seem amazingly easy to prepare - some only have four ingredients!Hopefully, she'll invite me over for dinner dessert soon!... Illustrated by gorgeous color photos for each recipe, this book is fabulous. Each dessert takes only a few ingredients and a few steps, but looks as if it came from an upscale bakery or restaurant. There are substitutes given for all ingredients, so it is very flexible. The "cheese" cake I made is beautiful, delicious, and guilt-free.... I love this book!
