I had my first grader read this to me. He gave it two thumbs up and so do I. When I asked him his thoughts, he said he was sad for Benny but was excited to... SORRY BUT I DIDNT LIKE BENNY THE BIPLANE. I LIKED THE PICTURES BUT NOT THE STORY. I KNOW THAT THIS IS TO BE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN BUT IT REALLY DIDNT HAVE MUCH OF A STORY THAT I THOUGHT CHILDREN WOULD WANT TO READ OVER AND OVER. THE BOOK JUST STATES WHAT BENNY DID IN ITS LIFETIME BUT NEVER GAVE DETAILS. I THOUGHT IT COULD HAVE BEEN CUTE... Cool story. My son loved it. And we really enjoyed the extra information at the end of the book. :)
