Gorgeous cover. A different cover and I probably don't read this book.Past that I'm not to sure what to say. There are two separate story threads here: Lars and his spiritual journey into deeper levels of his pagan faith with the aid and companionship of his new-found friends, and Lars' romance with Rhys. Despite efforts of the author,... Unusual book... But I liked it. I'm left with the desire to find a group of friends who have varied, in depth knowledge of different and unusual beliefs - and then make them camp in my backyard. The personal relationship, as touching as it was, felt secondary to the mystic elements in this story. That's not to say that the relationship... 3.5 STARS!Witches. Norse Gods. Sacrifices.
