An enjoyable and highly original collection of stories. The world of "The Dissenters" seemed to me to be the more fully realized, and the three stories set here cut deeper and had (for me) more emotional resonance. But I'd happily return to either world if the authors cared to take me. "The Painted Dog" and "Cat Dreams" were particularly... Inspirational and thoroughly enjoyable! The latest story collection from Beth and Emily. The stories are lovely, with fantasy and animal themes set in two separate worlds.
