Conceptually this was really good. Conceptually. I really liked how the sleep/curse was executed, I thought it was original and interesting. That's what kept me reading even though the prose style was so grating and annoying. Crimes of the style of this book: - unnecessary exposition-y overly fantasy-style adjectives in the first couple... WOW!! What can I say about Sleeping Beauty by Jenni James?! One word? Come on!! There is no way I can use only one word!! There are WAY too many going through my head right now!! To say a few... AMAZING!! PHENOMENAL!! STUNNING!! And my own all time favorite... FANTABULOUS!!
