This is what I get for picking a book based on a pretty cover. (And a pretty concept.) I was looking for something sweet and Christmasy to put me in the Christmas mood. But this story was ridiculous. The characters were bizarre and very thinly drawn, and nothing they did actually made sense. I will say the ending was better than I expected... Finding love in Paris has just gotten better. Isabel and and Alec were both broken hearted. We're engage to be married in a matter of days but cupid left them both stranded in Paris without any love. Sometime love is right in front of you and you don't realize that it's there. Isabel was obsessed with what a fortune teller told her... This was supposed to be a lighthearted Christmas read, but instead it was an unrealistic book about rich people who have way too much money. Their biggest decisions was what restaurant to eat in that night or to stay in their $1000 a night hotel suite and order room service. The characters had no personalities. They were just the same...
