This was my first fantasy book, recommended by a Goodreads friend, and I loved it. This book is not for everyone, I won't give away too much, but if you get passed it, the book is great! Can't wait to read the next book in the series. Gifted by a reading group. I didn't like it. At all. ...I bought this thinking it was gonna a good smutty read. I feel utterly misled. It was definitely more of a non-con/Stockholm syndrome kinda thing. Some non-con is written very well, other non-con comes off as rape. This was NOT well written non-con. The end.
