Silly to give this book a rating. But I did. I have enjoyed books by both authors and been fascinated by their lives. So it was fascinating to read their letters to each other, though many more of Thomas' are available. Letter writing has become a lost art. Interesting to see these 2 brothers come through 2 world wars, exile, disagreements, family suicides, etc. Wow. I can't imagine living in Germany and through both World Wars. There are wars today, but not on my home soil nor with the same losses. Crazy. And then to have these 2 brothers be some...
