He is the recipient of many awards, including a Drama Desk Vernon Rice Award, the Pulitzer Prize, and two Obies.

Fascinating play, but I'm not sure I quite get it yet. I want to read a few more times or maybe be in it before I pass judgement. I really enjoyed the first read through. my god i cried and cried. i haven't seen this produced yet. it might kill me. I didn't find a lot to hang on to in this story.
