It was not as bad as Into the Quagmire in which VanDeMark described me as he described the protagonists, Johnson, MacNamara, etc., who knew they could not win the Viet Nam War because the government was not a viable government. A good read about the failure of Air Power in Vietnam Well written and thought out though certainly one should be cautious to note what is opinion and what is fact. This book has been required reading for some Air Force educational courses.
