This is exactly the type of fantasy I love to find. Filled with magic, portents, gods and Oni that drive the characters. Unlike so many fantasy writers, the author doesn't try to explain how the magic works, it is just a natural part of this ancient Japanese world of Samurai and Imperial intrigue.I particularly like the main character,...
