More About The Darkest Corner of the World
Really interesting to learn what was going on in Estonia during WWII; I know lots about the Netherlands and other parts of Europe, but I didn't know much about the horrible plight of those countries caught between the Soviets & the Nazis. The author does a fine job of portraying the dilemma of which side to help, and the strong patriot/underground... I thought that this was a good book because it had an exciting plot, and high tension. It was also interesting to see the different points of view of different people, as the Estonians wanted the Nazis to come, so they could get rid of the Soviets, when lots of people hated the Nazis. http://amysmarathonofbooks.ca/the-dar...
