A Vegan, Food and Drink, Food book. Sooo there are a ton of cool things about this book. First of all it is HUUUGE and...
No one knows wild fruits, vegetables, and herbs more intimately than "Wildman" Steve Brill. In this book (formerly published in hardcover as The Wild Vegetarian Cookbook) Brill describes how he forages year-round for local, organic foods in New York City; he knows every food that grows in the wild, when each is at its peak, and how to best prepare it. His 500 recipes (among them Baked Wild Ravioli, Ramp Vichyssoise, Early Spring Stir-Fry, and Wisteria-Lime Ice Cream) combine the inventive with the familiar for delicious vegan meals.

More About Wild Vegan Cookbook: A Forager's Culinary Guide (In the Field or in the Supermarket) to Preparing and Savoring Wild (And Not So Wild) Natural Foods
Sooo there are a ton of cool things about this book. First of all it is HUUUGE and there are a ton of recipes so it is for sure worth the money that you pay for it. Also it includes a ton of plants you will not find recipes for anywhere else. Why only three stars? You can tell it was written by someone who does not regularly cook vegan.... all those interested in foraging; many vegans, especially whole foods eaters If ever a cookbook called for photographs its this one, of both the foods in their unadulterated state and of the completed recipes using them, but unfortunately there are no photographs included. The contents are way, way too extensive to include them as I typically do when reviewing cookbooks.I took FOREVER for me to read this book....
