Unfortunately, I lost the battle with myself. Especially when I decided to read what other Goodreads members have said about this book.Let me start by saying... I really enjoy this series and the recipes are great, I've tried several and I think there are 4 in this book that I need to try. The other thing that strikes me is that Joanne understands the cold weather woes of people and machines. I give this one four stars because I love the Hannah Swenson series, flaws and all. But it bugs me that Hannah can never have an adversary or a challenge in her life that isn't suddenly resolved by murder. The appearance of a strong rival for Mike's affections AND for her cookie business made things interesting--it would have been great...
