This is a great book. I am glad I found it as although I have been a royal watcher all my life I have not read a book where the details of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II was laid out. It is a concise description with photographs of the planning and staging of the coronation. I especially love the information about the coronation... An excellent book about every single detail of the coronation. The size allows to read it in just one day. The book is supported by beautiful illustrations. In fact, I would like it even more if the publishers included a DVD with the whole ceremony...:) A very attractive and informative book on The Queen's coronation in 1953 and the massive preparations that went into it. It's the preparations that I found to be the most interesting -- from the designs of Norman Hartnell for the Queen's gown, and discovering that he also designed the gowns for other ladies of the royal family, and...
