I read this because it was nominated for the Maud Hart Lovelace award this year. It's not a book I would have been likely to start otherwise, since dirt track auto is not really my thing. Ok I was just walking around in the library when I seen this book. It jumped right out at me. As a dirt track racer I loved that it was about dirt track racing. The best part it wasnt all about late models. It had a lot about the lower class cars. The writer knew what he was talking about when he wrote about the cars and motors. Love...
