For years, Aquaman has been the only character in the "New 52" that I've had any desire to read. Apparently, I'm not the only one, because now, Aquaman has his own spin off series. It was a decent story, but I can definitely see this series being Aquaman's Achilles' heal if the writers are not careful, and thus bring down both series.... This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. I keep trying to like Aquaman, but these lousy comics just won't let me. This one for example has him as the head of a motley band of Z listers and odd balls, mostly trying to track down the baddies who stole powerful helmet. The snoozing set in early... Meh. When the story was (mostly) complete - I was enjoying myself. But there were a few sections that it seemed like half the story was missing, or things suddenly jumped forward.
