Tall, Dark & Hungry
A Paranormal, Fantasy, Vampires book. Youre very lucky. Bastien is a wonderful man. Smart, hardworking, nice, and a perfect gentleman, hell Kate, Terri interrupted. Were...
Terri had flown from England to help plan her cousin’s wedding, but paying for a New York hotel room was like giving blood! But she had an alternative: the new in-laws were offering lodging.Of course, the Argeneaus were a certifiably odd bunch. There was the sometimes chipper, sometimes brooding Lucern — a “vampire romance” writer. There was the wacky stage actor, Vincent. She couldn’t imagine Broadway casting a more ravenous singing-and-dancing Dracula. And then there was Bastien. Of this unique cast of characters, he seemed the tallest, darkest and hungriest — and his effect on Terri was decidedly delicious. Just looking into his eyes made her want to serve up her innocence on a silver platter. And she had a feeling the love feast was about to begin.

More About Tall, Dark & Hungry
Love is love, and loss is loss. We all love, and we all die, and everyone suffers the pain of grieving. The trick is to enjoy what you have while you have it. Bastien brushed one finger down her cheek, then asked, Would you care to make it four to five hundred years or more?... Bastien still felt empty. Blood wasnt what he was hungry for. What he yearned for. What he really wanted was someone of his own. Someone to complete him. He wanted to belong to someone. To someone who could accept his differences and embrace him with them. He wanted unconditional love. More to the point, he wanted Terris unconditional love. Lynsay Sands, Tall, Dark & Hungry //
I am thrilled that responsible, always two steps ahead, family go-to dependable Bastien gets his own story. The Argeneau family would fall apart without Bastien running things. Really all my feelings on this book can be summed up in one large groan. I had been looking forward to reading about Bastien too. Bastien really could've been an interesting character, but Sands made him out to be a soft snuggle bunny with fangs. And Terri was unbelievably sweet. She has no backbone, except for once in the story and... I'm a bit disappointed! I really like Bastien, and I was hoping his book would be so sexy and he would get the perfect heroine to shake him up! But that's not exactly how I feel after reading this book.First of all, I felt a lack of the humor that was always present in the past books in this series. I don't think I can recall one moment...
