This is one of these novels where every chapter tells a different story and all the disparate threads come together at the end. I, personally, find it frustrating and annoying as I prefer a straightforward narrative. However, having said that, this is a sprawling, complex novel which covers a lot of ground and keeps you interested as... Slow start but solid if not that imaginative thriller. Fun read ... Ludicrous plot line that didn't really hang together but I managed to suspend disbelief and enjoy it for what it was. But please, no more unnecessary coincidences involving the irritating Costello!
