This poem is simply beautiful.......RememberRemember me when I am gone away,Gone far away into the silent land;When you can no more hold me by the hand,Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.Remember me when no more day by dayYou tell me of our future that you plann'd:Only remember me; you understandIt will be late to counsel then or... Loved most of the poems, but some of them where the traditional woman's role as a "helpmeet for him" (i.e. a man, actually it's the title of one of the poems) was praised made me annoyed. I stole this book of poetry from my Mom. I remember reading "Goblin Market" while my husband was studying for his Eng Lit degree. I loved it because you don't have to have study group to enjoy. Like the fruit in "Goblin Market" it's juicy and delicious.
